What's the difference between TG-900 (Ferrous material ) and TG-902 (for Ferrous and non Ferrous material).

For example TG-900 is iron and TG-902 is for both iron and aluminum material.

Ans:  Basically, the background substance should be ferrous material or non ferrous material and its coating should be non-conductive material painting.

I am writing to ask you about the product of TECPEL “TG-902 Coating Thickness Gauge”. Can this meter measure conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals like tin coating on copper. Also which method (Ex Eddy current method) does this meter use to measure coating thickness on non-ferrous metals. Your earliest response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Only non-conductive coatings on ferrous or non-ferrous material.
